In an effort to never admit they are wrong, this Trump supporter is now conceding that this was no mere tour of the Capitol Building, but some actual violence and vandalism occurred.

When were the J6 people arrested?
It. Does. Not. Matter.

DeSantis supporter. But please, keep making a fool of yourself. You've got quite the combo going with various other threads.

Blanket pardoning everyone on J6 could have pardoned people who deserved prosecution. We're talking about hundreds of people with a wide array of charges.
Many people have been over this.
He could have specifically excluded those who committed violence, property damage etc.
He could have made it as specific as he wanted.
He did zero instead.

Pretty sure Lincoln pardoned specific individuals. A blanket pardon came 2 or 3 years post-Civil War from President Johnson.

During his presidency, Lincoln issued 64 pardons for war-related offences: 22 for conspiracy, 17 for treason, 12 for rebellion, nine for holding an office under the Confederacy, and four for serving with the rebels.

In the aftermath of the Civil War, President Andrew Johnson on this day in 1868 issued pardons to all Confederate soldiers who fought in that conflict.
- ok just did.

I mean... you DID make the statement that Trump might pardon someone who didn't deserve it... so far has their NOT been anyone that was railroaded, brought up on half baked charges or even better, is still sitting in jail without having had a trial... just name 'em.

And wouldn’t it have been better for a few people who did deserve to be prosecuted be pardoned but many people who don’t deserve it are pardoned too.
Instead of literally no help at all.
I see logaroo has abandoned this now that his gotcha thread got him destroyed.

If he did a blanket pardon, yes.
Were there any arrests made before Biden's inauguration that didn't include violence, conspiracy to commit violence, property damage, resisting arrest, theft, etc.?

He could have specifically excluded all of those things.

If I recall correctly, at the time (jan 6th - jan 19th), they weren't digging through video trying to identify grandmas walking between velvet ropes. They were going after those who assaulted police/media, destroyed property, stole property, etc.

Yes, but my point is, at that time, were there charges beyond that?
I guess we can blame him for not knowing they'd go after grandma walking between velvet ropes, but I don't recall them being that aggressive that early. They had plenty of people to go after who had preformed violent crimes.

If Trump hadn’t learned by then that Democrats will do everything dirty to try to derail him or any GOP POTUS, and harm any and all Conservatives, then maybe he’s not up for the job a second time around.

Yes, he did offer Confederate soldiers currently fighting in a war that still had a year and a half left to play out a pardon if they defected and swore an oath to the United States.
The free and clear pardon came years later, as I already told you.
