My favorite was the crying about a $16k handbag going up. How can families survive when their purses cost $20k?

As usual, your sky screaming was both unfounded and baseless. But true to your misguided and self-righteous sense of superiority (which reminds me of a couple of other posters), here you are falsely claiming that you've been proven right.

Learn how to be a man and take the "L," dude. Once again, you were proven to be full of hot air. So much so that you had to tuck your tail and run away for about a month.

Its called a "prediction" and it was spot on.

You probably still have no idea why though.

Trump has no plan. You;'ll realize this before his term is over.

And is an accountant.

Surely he is up to date on how the tariffs actually affected business operations.

Did you catch President Trump in the Middle East last week? Even the little CNN propaganda puppet Kaitlan Collins was singing Trump's praises regarding what he accomplished.

Is that why you waited until this week to reappear?

Has absolutely nothing to do with his retarded tariff rollout.

You still have no idea why it was fricked up

I’ve been talking about how costs are going up this summer and have posted emails from suppliers stating such.. here’s another we that we got yesterday:

quote:

Phase 2 – Updated Pricing Begins June 1st. Updated pricing reflecting only a portion of tariff-related increases will begin on Sunday, June 1, 2025. New pricing will be available on our website and will replace all previously published prices. We’re doing our part to reduce the impact by absorbing some of the added costs. Affected product prices will rise by 3%–10%, depending on the materials involved. Please note, not all products and/or categories are impacted. For example, our most popular redacted, produced in Minnesota, will experience no price increase.

This is what I’ve been talking about when it comes to business costs going up. This stuff gets passed down to our clients. I still have to mark that up. Industry standard is 40% but can be higher or lower depending on the item. Depending on the client they may be reselling and marking up the product too. Which impacts you, the consumer.

Quoting our Canadian product went from taking minutes to days trying to get the correct tariff number.

We had to deal with the 145% tariff with China for a quote. Our client (a college) saw their cost go up by 39%. and I kept my markup lower than suggested. I deal with Canadian sourced goods too. I know your frustration.

And there it is. When policy gets complex the binary thinking returns. Not everything can be reduced to such a simplistic viewpoint. There are many businesses, both large and small, that have been impacted by the tariffs, and the rollout. Whether someone agrees or disagrees with tariffs as a strategy, you simply cannot deny that the rollout has impacted supply chains and costs dramatically. If you cannot understand that, well, you're too dense to discuss this topic.

Nah, it doesn't have to be that complex.

When Roger is getting up votes, you know the libtards are all over the thread. Roger is still in denial...but glad to see he got some wagon help and got back on....the angry drunken Roger is not a good look. You libtards or something else, but at least they admit that they are commies and want marxism...it is the never Trumpers that are Republicans that make zero sense. They know what the liberals goal is in this country with marxism....and they still support it because they hate Trump...talk about insanity....and low iq

As a guy that worked for two of the big 4 (used to be big six before that big 8) I can assure you that I understand policy and economics a hell of a lot more than a libtard.

I’m watching material pricing go up 10-15% from February with announcements anticipating another increase this year.

That is on top of the typical 3% increase in Q1.

First, being so overly edumacated, one would think that you would have learned at just one of the many schools that you attended that the number one rule is to not make assumptions. The mere fact that you assume that anyone who disagrees with tariffs is a liberal show a lack of basic critical thinking skills.

But in the spirit of generosity, I'll gladly give you my MBA from Kellogg if it helps in any way.
