You should not get it if you don't actually pay taxes..just like EIC... It just encourages low income single women to breed like rabbits.

Tax credit is just wealth redistribution.

My brother in law has 6 kids.

So he gets what, 3,000 x 4 and 3,600 x 2 = 19,200.

The dude is a bum and probably makes 40k a year.

He's not only keeping his money, he's getting paid to have kids.

This is why the "rich have to pay their fair share" is the biggest lie in history.

It should only be applicable to offset PAID in taxes, not a welfare check

IMO most people here don't have a clue about what the CTC is or how long it's been in existence.
