Something I will never understand is that Dems think something like this sounds good and will play with their base. But it doesn't. The majority of their base is like "What the hell is this?" And then the GOP just beats the ever living frick out of them with it.
It's a mistake on the Dems part. But let them make it. Then publicize it mercilessly for maximum damage. 90/10 topics will continue to doom them until they learn better. ND honestly - who knows if that will ever happen? It's another gaffe in a series of them.
