You don't "believe" in science. It's a method of studying the world around us.

Theory is an explanation of a phenomenon based on evidence.

Individuals "believing" in science is theoretically irrelevant, as scientific principles are true whether or not people "believe".

Practically however it matters because scientific advancement is largely driven by research funded by the governments of western and East Asian powers. If enough politicians believe one thing, it will effect the scientific community.

?? I also said that the left "claims." I only added the word "certainly" to the part about the right because it was the second thing I brought up. Why that would cause you to "not get past those points" is ridiculous, childish and stupid.

Only in an much as you can't personally validate every piece of research ever conducted.

The "faith" used in the realm of science is the kind of faith you have in the brakes on your car or the microwave in your kitchen. It's more of a trust that is required for basic existence.

Oh no! honest inquiry of data and being able to admit one is wrong in light of new data/facts is so terrible. I guess the religious mindset would be against such things.

Science isn't about belief. It's about facts.

Not really.

Try and reconcile with facts TOE (theory of Everything) and tell me that Science isn't a belief system just like the most fanciful of religious ideologies.

fact
fakt/
noun
1. a thing that is indisputably the case.

If something is later proved to have been false, it was never really a fact.

You drive your car, get on the internet, use your phone, air conditioner and heater. These are all results of science. What "fanciful" religious prophecy or original idea is quantifiable in such a way?

The theory of everything isn't a theory, it's the on going problem of unifying general relativity and quantum mechanics. No one claims to k ow the answer.

They have done extensive testing showing the accuracy of each in their given scale domains.

But a theory that is later proved to be incomplete or "false" can still have been based at least partly on facts/things that are true, and then the idea is simply improved upon. When has religion changed it's "facts" except in the cases of changing from a literal to allegorical interpretation of its original "divine" texts (which were forced upon it due to scientific discovery)?

Most of which is research into technical improvements for oil and gas drilling/manufacturing.

"Science", as is being discussed here at least, is largely funded by government grants.
