Chief of Staff?
Secretary of Commerce?
Director of National Intelligence?
Director of the Office of Management and Budget?
Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers?
Director of CIA?

Something else?

Vivek would be terrific on the Council of Economic Advisors but his cost trimming of the administrative state would be phenomenal at OMB.

I think its a mistake by both if they bring him into the admin.

That's why I listed all those options. He could fit in great at a few positions.

Also, let's not waste him as press secretary. Though that would be a lot of fun and he could wipe the floor with the reporters daily, his entrepreneurial and business skills are probably better used elsewhere.

Can you elaborate? You think there is a risk he outshines Trump and that Trump can't handle it, or is that Vivek would be so damaged by 4 years under Trump that he would become unelectable in 2028?

He’s a BILLIONAIRE. VP or an advisor. ZERO chance he’s in the cabinet. Just my opinion though.

Basically both. I think hes too smart to be "reporting to" Trump. He has the CEO leader thing going for him right now. I think if he goes and becomes a nobody its a negative for him, if he goes into the admin and tries to DO WELL - then the likelihood of friction because of the risk he outshines Trump.

Hard for me to see the recipe for success in having him under Trump's admin.

Someone mentioned GOP Chair... I could see that, but how long can anyone really be GOP Chair before the big money owns them?

John Kerry is a billionaire and made a career as a cabinet member.

This

Anyone with future political aspirations should stay the hell away from his administration

Especially someone as young as he is

GOP Chairman's job is to raise money from rich establishment Republicans. Only a swamp creature can do that job. Vivek would do a wonderful job, but only the dumbest of the dumb would believe anything he said after he held that job. So maybe.

John Kerry married a billionaire, he didn't actually do anything to earn it except pork the ketchup lady. Not the same as someone who earned the money.

Isn't most of his wealth tied up in stock values? So someone like say... Blackrock just has to come along and sneeze on you and its half.
