Come on.

You know the point isn't whether or not you actually typed the specific words, "Trump is a dictator." The point is that you have—too many times to count—communicated in some way or another that you think that Trump has overstepped his presidential authority.

Which is obviously relevant in the context of you suggesting that we get rid of Congress, as one of the three entities designed to provide checks and balances for each other would have been removed from the equation, making it that much easier for Trump to overstep his authority.

Your response should have been some version of, "I didn't mean we should get rid of Congress (you could insert an insult here if you want to match the board culture), I meant everyone serving in Congress right now should be fired and we should elect a whole new Congress." (The insult could also be inserted at the end if you like.)

Because that's likely what you really meant, right?

Claiming he's lying just because he paraphrased the intent while failing to recite exactly the words you typed is exactly what the media does with Trump, and it's gotten really tedious.
