SSH keeps savaging the Dems saying they are responsible for shutting down the DACA dialogue by shutting the govt down.

I've been listening to a bit of it. Every question seems to be about corning the admin into saying illegals aren't important.

Trump would be a fool to cave on DACA. It is THE core issue for the majority of his base.

I think most everyone is fine with a true "path" to citizenship. The problem is that for the Democrats that "path" = immediate amnesty.

As usual they have successfully molded what seems like a rational and popular position (path to citizenship) and turned it into something that is irrational and much less popular (instant citizenship with ability to chain migrate), by completely co opting the language of the debate.

Most folks see the word path and don't understand why those terrible racist Trump supporters won't allow these poor kids a path to achieve their "dream". They have no idea what "path" really means. They also have no idea that these "kids" are mostly in their late 20's and early 30's. This is what happens when you can control the media narrative.
