Not sure how to make it any more clear. If you can clarify your question I will try and respond.
What is your exact allegation of the actions of the convicted wrt to "releasing" DNA?

Right. Very cavalier.

Do people actually think the state of Arkansas would have willingly released them if they actually thought there was a scintilla of a possibility that they were guilty ? I mean come on. There isn’t one educated person - Elmer gantry bible colleges don’t count - who believes they were guilty.

Correct. The Alford Plea was done literally so the scumbag DA wouldn't have to tarnish his official record. The only leverage the state had over the convicted was that they were still in prison (admittedly, huge leverage). If the convictions had already been vacated, then there is a chance at least one of the convicted would have gone through another trial instead of pleading out.

DAs never admit they are wrong and suffer no consequences for ruining people's lives. I would argue it's because it's an elected position - they always have to look "tough on crime" - even when crime is plummeting.

And yet there is still not one single piece of evidence that irrefutably exonerates any of the 3.

As noted previously ... they would have released the DNA results if it had exonerated them. Since they did not, you can read whatever you want into that.

Which results are you claiming were not released?

There is a reason no one discusses the actual facts of the case but just makes crazy, emotional statements.

I have asked myriad times to silence:
1. How does one explain the Evan Williams bottle?
2. How does one explain the other Misskelley confessions?
3. Why can none of the convicted come up with an alibi?

Add to that there is not a single piece of evidence pointing to an alternative suspect.

Whoever was in Bojangles will never be known. I’m gonna say it was him.

Do you have a link for that? Because the one thing we DO know is that when the original updated DNA testing was done ~2010, it was THEN that the state offered them the Alford deal instead of fulfilling the State Supreme Court's order to determine if the DNA meant there should be a new trial or not. So - I would flip it back on you. Why in the world would the state have ever offered them such a thing if the DNA weren't dispositive?

Can I take a shot at that?

Henry Rollins, Natalie Maines, Eddie Vedder, Johnny Depp, Metallica, Disturbed, L7, Trey Parker, Jack Black, Winona Ryder, Will Ferrell, Robert Smith, Patti Smith, Marilyn Manson, Shepard Fairey, Tom Waits, Clive Barker, Peter Straub, Margaret Cho, Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy, Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, Axl Rose, Iggy Pop, Steve Earle, Hank Williams III, Chuck D, Mandy Moore and Demi Lovato

They were taking a drubbing in public opinion, ginned up by the celebrity circus.

What was the IQ of the person who said there was someone in the Bojangles bathroom?

Oh man you looks like you solved the case. You should probably alert the DA. Maybe they’ll re arrest them!

The case was solved in 1993.

Complete cop out. Either the DNA analysis in 2010 pointed to their guilt or it did not. Why would anyone have cared at all what a bunch of celebrities said if the DNA was dispositive that they were guilty?

Again - THEY WERE IN PRISON ON THEIR ORIGINAL CONVICTIONS. The law didn't have to do anything other than follow the supreme court order to assess the DNA's potential impact. And the law's response to that was - prior to conducting the ordered hearing - to strike a deal that let them out of prison.

You’re wasting your time. The Neanderthals you are arguing with legitimately think DNA testing is the devils science and/ or a liberal concoction. You’re not going to stop them from believing three teenagers had a satanic blood orgy. They should be laughed at, not reasoned with.

There is no dna evidence implicating anyone.

There was some trace dna in one of the shoe strings of Terry Hobbs. But it was his stepsons shoes.

You would expect that type of dna on a victim.

And the blood evidence on Demon’s necklace linked to, not one, but two of the victims.

The evidence is clear. Those weirdos are child murderers.
