At least be honest. The federal government isn’t "bankrupt" if that’s even possible and the shutdown is just a political ploy that we seem to go through each year where we refuse to pay for the bill of money that was already spent. I agree the government spends way way way too much and Trump should have spent his political capital focusing on cutting spending rather than tax cuts but alas
