This reminds me of the big release of the Trump grab the pussy story by ABC days before Trump was to debate Hillary. The story was sat on for over 3 months. This seems very similar with the debate on Tuesday. If not this new revelation of stolen tax returns I wonder what else the democrats have at the ready to release before Tuesday.

this is always the stupidest attempt at a gotcha. what do you think you're going to find that the irs hasn't already found? whatever an american pays in taxes is whatever the irs allows them to get away with. if you don't like what trump paid/didn't pay, take it up with the irs. but "leaking" it to the public is nothing more than political theater

This, I think, is why the NYT ran this now. The Dems fear what the public will see of Biden in this debate and want everyone talking about something else. It's only the 28th of September and the October surprise has been tossed over the wall like the last grenade in the fort.

Lol, Biden will mention Trumps tax returns at least a dozen times Tuesday night, and each time, Trump will use it as an opportunity to talk about Hunter Biden, Joe's brother and the rest of his corrupt family.
