Went to Barnes and Noble for first time in a while today and checked the econ shelf…yikes

Thomas Piketty and Joseph Stiglitz all over the place, well displayed. All of their published works available. Piketty’s 2 coresearchers- Saez and Zucman- also had their books all well displayed and marketed.
An *entire* section of the Econ shelf was labeled inequality and had nothing but Marxist crap. No similar subsection for capitalism, prosperity, markets, etc.
Friedman, sowell were tucked away, and only had one book total for each of them.
Barnes and Noble obviously is interested in making money and they know what sells, so it is worrying that Stooge economists like Thomas Piketty and Joseph Stiglitz, two men totally discredited and dumb, have their bs propaganda all over our major book retailers. This is what people are buying and reading. Not good!

Last time I was in there a few weeks ago they were proudly displaying all their Marxist literature: Angela Davis, Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn. Historical biographies on Lenin, Marx and Mao all had prominent display as well.
