Trump should EO E-Verify for all companies and personal employers. Then after enforcement of E-verify, and the criminals are imprisones, the few stragglers will be easy to round up and deport.

Good grief... ussc is a damn embarrassment. Robbery, rape and kidnapping are not on face value considered violent crimes? It may be time to revisit cleaning the slate entirely and starting over.

This is the ruling that concerns legal immigrants, right?

I agree with the ruling. The law is (as I understand it) too broad. I do not want so much "interpretation room" for Fed Gov.

Look how the enormous assfrick the "commerce clause" has gaped us all.

The law says "crimes of violence" and I am not sure letting the Fed Gov define burglary as "violence" is something we should be happy with.

It is all well and good when it is that "other dude" that the feds are after. It is entirely another once that monster starts eating us.

There are other avenues for deporting people. This dude is a LEGAL immigrant. Punish him, even deport him. But, don't do it based upon Fed Gov overreach bullshite.

Yeah, the Supremes need to Stop! (immigrants) in the name of love.

Did you read any of the reasoning for their decision?

They struck it down because the provision is unconstitutionally vague. It doesn't mean the whole law is dead, but the provision needs to be redrawn so that it does its job without infringing on the rights of those that it shouldn't. That's the reasoning.
