Yeah, imagine everyone being able to see a doctor or be treated at a hospital without fear of having to declare bankruptcy. Imagine not having to start a go fund me to pay for medical bills.

And get worse care.

There are a lot of jobs out there that have great health insurance.

Go find one, you might have to move but that's life.

Society owes you nothing, that's something your dad should have taught you.

Imagine not having to leave your country with socialized medicine to get adequate care. Of course then it's only rich people that can get that care, not just people with jobs. So yay deeper inequality.

There's no free lunch, there's always a relief valve somewhere and making it all free and affordable just makes it worse quality. Not like we don't have endless examples of this. People with money in Canada, don't have surgeries in Canada, where we gonna go once we sabotage the incentive for innovation and for quality because of competition in our Healthcare system?

The response to this post demonstrate exactly why I'd support the government giving medical a try.

Need medical care- well just go get a job and then 3 months later you'll be able to go see the doctor and be covered.

That's American healthcare man. A system where i pat out of pocket monthly and then pay more out of pocket before it kicks in. For something to potentially one day be covered

Why don't you already have job, or the numerous other routes to health insurance already in place? Sounds like you're fricked with or without healthcare.

Unless you're on medicaid and already retired, you should already have a job, you fricking loser. If not, why should people that are working and have insurance be responsible for your debt/needs?
