Once the Weinstein story gained momentum and the Hollywood corruption started bubbling to the surface, the "Me Too" posts started popping up everywhere.

I respect the women who truly suffered abuse and hate that they experienced it.

I've seen two guys post what are essentially apologies for what the women went through, even though they hadn't abused anyone. I saw someone apologize for cat-calling and other things that certainly don't respect women, but that are far from abuse.

I have to wonder what the end result will be from all of this.

I want to be on the record that I could give two fricks of women traded arse for fortune and fame.

It's been going on since the beginning of time.

Some hysteria for a while then everyone goes back to normal life and young actresses keep getting abused:

The white knights are just using the self loathing tactic to make themselves look good and get some SJW action.

I saw one guy apologizing on Facebook for being a "nice guy."

He was polite and *didn't* harass or assault anyone but thought that being a nice guy meant he would get what he deserved. He's apologizing for that because it sexualizes women and perpetuates the idea that a person owes you something for acting a certain way.

So... he's apologizing for being nice

The women that post “me too” because some guy whistles at her just takes away from the victims of actual abuse.

In today’s PC culture, if a guy looks at a girl, she thinks she’s been abused.

Everyone needs to grow a pair.

Here's the problem, if the guy is good looking it's flattering. If he's ugly it's a hate crime.

The biggest thing that seems to be missing in this #MeToo social media campaign, is any kind of recognition from women of their own complicity. There is a whole spectrum of complicity here in how individuals react, of course, but for the women who actually made the Faustian bargains typical of Hollywood, I haven't read anything indicating a smidgen of remorse for making the future environment worse for others. These women were effectively shitting on all the men and women out there who were trying to play it straight, and one could make a convincing argument that feminine acquiescence in these types of situations is much more socially damaging to ordinary men than it is to ordinary women.

the fundamental problem with life on planet earth is that women make up only 50% of the population but the have a 100% of all the p*ssy!

until we fix that nothing is ever going to change.

I just wanna know why these female movie stars aren’t naming names. Doesn’t that protect the sexual harasser and enable him to keep doing it because he doesn’t get called out? ??

It's in vogue to be a victim - soon all these unknown "actresses" that have come forward will be appearing in prime time television and major studio movies.
All aboard the victim train
