uggesting that the only thing to do is repeal Obamacare only proves ignorance.
There would be complete market chaos with just repeal. It feels good to say it, but it's akin to saying let's fire every government employee.
The repeal of it would not have caused a bigger market chaos than the implementation of it in the first place.

Fix what? What in your opinion is wrong with ObamaCare? I keep hearing from the left that it is great and should be left alone. When the liberals had control of both houses and the WH, why did they give us something that needs to be fixed?

IDK whether you're confused about terminology, or just plain confused. A return to the very familiar pre-obamacare carrier environment is the least chaotic market scenario out there.
Granted, without some transitional regulation, there could be consumer chaos. Individuals with PECs could get hosed. But even that would be unlikely. E.g., management of transitioning PECs would be easy to remedy with one-time coverage requirements.
By-and-large we'd be returning to a marketplace with which carriers and the public are well acquainted.

Never really considered it, but what was the driving force behind the ACA? I have ideas, but what do you think the driving force behind it was?

The driving force was single payer.
Everyone knew this would fail, and the ONLY rescue would be a govt takeover. Now the DIMS don't want it to fail, they want the (R)S to 'try' and fix it. Which just kicks the can further down the road of single payer
That's why when OBAMAcare was first being discussed, you also saw scores of posts on here about the success of Natl healthcare in other countries. That's was the intention all along
