The hard truth is it didn't have to be this bad. But Donald Trump has squandered every chance he's had to contain the spread of this virus.

What about when they are so fricking wrong it makes my high school educated arse laugh at the absurdity of what they say?

If you took a basic biology class in 7th grade you understand enough to know Fauci is full of feces

You wanted more testing. This is what happens when you get more testing.

Now do deaths from Coronovirus.

Hospitals typically want ICU beds full or near full, do they not? It's got nothing to do with Covid.

For someone with an avatar seldom seen you are as annoying as a swam of horseflies. Sorry shouldn't insult horseflies like that.

These people are talking about this stuff as if we aren't going to eventually get the truth about what happened.

The other day one of these coronavirus taskforce members actually said publicly that this thing was a bioweapon. You can take it to the bank that the dems knew this thing was going to be released and were complicit. Who the frick is Joe Biden to say "it could have been better" when he's the motherfricker who has benefited most from the virus? Dude has pretty much ran a presidential campaign from someone's basement thanks to this virus.

I love the childlike simplicity of using Single Variable Optimization.

Problem is....it will work with the dunderheads that make up the American electorate.

Florida is fine. I love how people are calling Duval County a hotspot when about 1% of the county has it.

I wouldn't ay it has nothing to do with it, but you are correct. What no one ever reports is that ICU beds are always close to being full.

Think about it.

How may times has a relative or friend been to the hospital (pre-COVID) and had to wait to be transferred to an ICU bed because of capacity? The wait may have only been a few hours, but ICU beds are always scarce.

I've seen it work the other way too. Last time my Mom was in the hospital (pre-COVID) they had her in a ICU bed until a normal bed on her floor opened up.

We should't have to listen to experts that tell us that protesting has no effect on the spread of the virus and then when there is a spike in the prime protester age demographic, they still do not accept reality.

If you aren't on the field you can't lose.

That's literally the strategy. No hyperbole. I happen to know someone who worked for Biden's campaign and this is sot of what they tell the faithful. "Let Trump beat himself" really means "hide Joe and hope Trump steps in it because Joe will step in it, multiple times, if they let him run a traditional campaign, and the whole campaign knows it.

Please don’t get me wrong I’m very glad Trump defeated Rodham in 2016 but I agree with the OP. Trump just doesn’t listen to any political advice At all. Ivanka should be able to control her daddy or give him solid advice but Trump just doesn’t trust or listen to his advisors. And all that demeaning talk worked against that “nasty woman” But it is not going to flying this time with the ventriloquist dummy Joe Biden.

It's probably their best strategy, and not only because Biden is a dementia patient.

Also because Trump can't resist beating himself.

You should seldom post.

Here is what we’ve been told. Masks dont work. Oh wait now they work. A drug doesnt work. Oh wait maybe it does. People are dying everywhere. Oh wait its less than 1% fatality rate. It lives on surfaces for weeks. Oh wait no it doesnt.

“Experts” are being proven daily they are guessing at best.

I don’t know much about the inner workings of hospitals but I know they like profit. I would imagine the daily rate for an ICU bed is comfortably above a regular room, so it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if a mostly occupied ICU is part of a standard, but possibly unwritten business plan.

They just don't have that many of them. By design. They are expensive, so they only want to have enough so that they are generally always near or at capacity.
