We ran out of ballots

I’m an election judge in Minnesota. Turnout way higher than expected here today, and we already ran out of original allotment of ballots with 2 hours still to go.
Got a few more from HQ, but have been told to prepare for taking tallies on “unofficial” ballots and hand tallying.
I’m in a heavily Democratic precinct, so do the math.

Ya'll gonna elect that woman beater Attorney General?
On the one hand domestic abuse is very bad, on the other hand he is black and Muslim, so that's like 2 free passes.

This isn’t difficult.
Take ten minutes to look over turn out for different types of elections over the last 10 years and plan for 20% more ballots than the last commensurate election in case it has some heat on it.

Keith Ellison is hardly a devout Muslim. He used to be Christian and if I had to bet on it, I seriously doubt he's a "Muslim" anymore than Trump is a "Christian".

Sound like the precinct is going to pull another one of those 100+ Voters over the age of 116 . It would be interesting to see how the polls would be if everyone had to show up to vote and show voter I.D.s .

We just ran out of the additional ones they brought, and there are no more to be had of the kind read by the machine. Out all over the city.
We have to use copies and count them by hand.
One of my colleagues stands by the machine now as we feed these into a separate slot. We refer to him as “comrade”.
