I'd rather elect an actual conservative. We have a great option there who just destroyed the Crown Prince of the Democrat Party a week ago.

We should probably elect another Bush, you know… get back to the real Republican party.
We should probably elect the guy that lost to Biden….

If hes the nominee i’ll vote for him, but the fools around here pretending like the republican party was peaches and sunshine before Trump are laughable.

I don't think I've seen a single poster suggest the Republican party was peaches and sunshine before Trump. The argument is Trump proved to be disastrous at the close of his first term and it's a better bet that DeSantis would serve us better - versus a bet that an 80 year old will be different in a second term.

The Romney, Cassidy, McCain, Kinzinger, Bush/Cheney Wing disagree with this. Bill Cassidy has assured us on numerous occasions that Trump won't be the nominee. We'll see..
Where does the Sessions, Wray, Bolton, Kelley, Mattis, Diamond, Silk Wing stand?

So which is it?

Is "asking" if Ron DeSantis is a groomer pedophile uniting the party? If so, then yes he is.

No, he’s trying to save 7.5 Billion people from being led to their slaughter by the get along / go along UniParty.

They're misinformed if they think he represents conservative interests.

Can someone who is somewhat educated please explain why there are moaaar debates coming up?
What is the purpose exactly?
Personally, I believe it’s because they don’t want to give the impression of the RNC essentially conceding the primary to Trump, while the candidates who remain obviously have not conceded. The remaining candidates would accuse the RNC of intentionally helping Trump……then there we are with even further discord within the party.
**Not that I’m necessarily claiming to be “educated.”

All of the people that gave us Bush and McCain style Republicans since Reagan are now Trump sycophants.
Maybe it’s time we stop listening to those people.

Because I don't think "the Democrats ran over me" is a legit excuse. Do you?

So your position is Covid was not a factor in the increase in debt?
Additionally, Trump should have ignored the “world renowned experts” that gave him advice?
Is that your position?

Covid was a non factor. Our overreaction to Covid was a factor.
The consumer came out of the pandemic with a head of steam provided by handouts from Trump ($1,800 per adult), and Biden (also about $1,400 per adult) between April 2020 and March 2021. That was supplemented by $900 billion of Paycheck Protection Program loans, which were forgiven one year later.
Student loan payments were suspended from 2020–2023. The Federal Reserve held interest rates at zero from 2020–2022. Then the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act of August 2022 handed $1 trillion of taxpayer money to Green New Scam businesses and other pet projects.

How very nice of him. Given his COVID record, I’m glad you’re confident the octogenarian proven warrior has it all figured out….this time.

Yes it was, but Trump was running a trillion dollar deficit in 2020 without COVID.

My position is it shouldn't have been.

He should have ignored the ones giving shitty advice and listened to those giving good/effective advice. Isn't that what all presidents do?
Unfortunately Trump proved incapable in this regard.

Yes, my position is Covid response was no different than climate change, the racism industry, Russiegate, etc.
