Not really. The oil and gas industry requires a lot of capital to finance a drilling program, most of that comes through bank financing or private equity. Biden is trying to kill that. Also, interest hikes don’t help either. Also, the proposed tax law changes make it difficult to forecast a drilling program. When you drill wells some costs are expenses and some are capitalized. If wells cost $12 to &15 million, it takes awhile to make money, because you have to recoup the costs. Production and price determines that. Every well drilled is not profitable.

I sincerely hope gas gets to $10/gallon. Time for people to wake up to the BS that is the Democratic Party. Only pain will do it. Bring it.

Someone said on this board before and I agree:
Until Nuclear Energy is discussed and heavily considered and politicized in its favor, I don't want to hear anything about the transition off of fossil Fuels in the timeframe they want. It's not possible unless Nuclear energy is involved, not with our technology
