Newsome is right about DeSantis doing those COVID things but then he changed his mind when he saw that it wasn't working. So DeSantis followed federal policy when no one knew what was going on. When it was found out that it was wrong he changed course.

Newsome isn't wrong because he is going with a strict numbers thing here while the per capita number is better for DeSantis but it's slimy. California is almost 2x the population size as Florida, while Florida is significantly more elderly.
