Don't bet on it. Ours backtracked at the same board meeting last week where the vote was 4-1 to reopen with in person classes on August 12th. By the time the meeting was over, virtual learning until some unspecified future date. Said board member, in his first term, apparently has a way to wield outsize influence. I'm sure it's just a coincidence he's on the board of a company that supplies virtual learning products.

These idiots act like the 4 page plan put out by the district is the only plan there is. Each school has a much more detailed plan in place. They've all been working on this since the spring!

Right?? You have the option to keep your kids home, or to quit your job as a teacher if you don't feel safe returning. It's a free country.

Sadly, we're in one of the metro Atlanta counties. Corruption in government knows no borders. At least you (can I use this term as an outsider?) baws in Louisiana know the government is corrupt at all levels, here we like to act like some politicians have a shred of integrity from time to time when it's not true.
