If Page was an FBI plant, and the FBI obtained the FISA warrant on team Trump because of Carter Page, holy shite balls.

i mean yes. But why would they need a warrant to tap a plant?

He is a very very strange individual. I watched his interview on Fox today and he was just plain odd. He would not answer the question of who approached who with The British professor. I found that to be really odd as it was clear he has a rehearsed script and he tried his hardest to avoid the question when pressed three times on this to avoid answering the question

Any normal human being would be so pissed that they would make sure the sequence of events were known but not this guy. Really odd.

a) many states have one party consent. PAge was in VA (I believe), which is a one party consent

b) the feds often will use other methods to document calls,i.e. witness notes.

Page isn't a plant. For the simple reason, the FBI would have told him not to do that media if he was a plant.

Page was known to frick around with well known Russian spies, and the FBI needed to see what he was up to, because someone who is fricking around with Russian spies is a threat to our national security -- just like the idiot junior son of the president who "ADMITTED" to setting up a meeting with an advertised official of the Russian Government. If the FBI did not try to tail Page or Dan Jr. for that matter, they would not be doing their jobs.

So Nixon's son in law referred Page to the Trump campaign? You can't make this stuff up

According to The Post, after a simple Google search was used to vet Page, Clovis ultimately okayed his addition to the policy team.

Also confirmed yesterday that he met with Halper during the campaign (said they discussed China, not Russia). He also said that he's already been in front of the Grand Jury and Mueller.

he has such a loveable face, it would be a shame for a face like that to be paired with orange. I don't think ole sammy boy would do well in federal pound you in the arse prison. I am sure some of those baws in prison have a jabba / slave leia fantasy going on.

Not that he is going to prison, just pontificating on what would happen if he were indicted.

The FISA court granted the F Bee Eye the ability to "two hop" wire tapping on Carter Page. This means that can listen to all calls, see texts, emails, etc on Carter Page, and whoever he contacts or whoever contacts him. This means if Page emails Trump Jr. for any reason, the FISA warrant grants intelligence agencies the ability to listen to all of Trump Jr's calls. Trump Jr is the second hop. They can look at all of his emails too.

Who is Sam Clovis?
Carter Page told Sam Clovis that Halper saw him on CNN and wanted to meet him. Halper told Sam clovis that Carter Page thought they should get together.
This sounds like Page was trying to help Halper get into the Trump campaign. Since Page was an F Bee eye informant in the past, he would know how an informant acts. Page seems like he was acting like an informant providing a way for paid agents to make contacts in Trump's campaign.

The way he acted makes it appear that he was part of the set up, maybe not in the beginning.

I am convinced of one of two things:

1) Page was working for FBI

2) Page was working for Russia

If it turns out he was working for Russia, why hasn't he been arrested? This alone proves the collusion stuff is nonsense.

If he was working for the FBI, well, that's an even bigger problem. On what grounds were they putting Page into the campaign in March? What information did they have where they felt they needed to put spies in the campaign that early on? (I am open minded and am willing to listen to their argument here). But its' obvious that their timeline has fallen apart already with Halper and will fall apart even more if Page is indeed an asset.

This is what Nunes is trying to understand. He knows, like everyone else, that the July 31 date is bullshite and he wants to know what *really* started this whole thing. Why is this a bad thing? Doesn't both sides want to get to the bottom of it all? Why the secrecy from the DoJ?
