He’s FOS.
He cites not finding enough US engineers willing to work 12 hour days.
The reality is they want to pay foreign visa guys to do the work at 50% of their domestic wage value, force them to work 80-100 hour weeks to reduce their headcount numbers and discard them as needed when work conditions change. Keep in mind that these are salaried not hourly positions so by increasing expected hours it doesn’t benefit the employee at all as it would for blue collar workers who would get paid overtime for the additional time.
By reducing their head count it increases their valuation numbers for Wall Street and thus increases their stock price and executive compensation bonus payouts.
It’s a straight up hustle to increase executive pay at the expense of domestic workers and wages.
Elon and Vivek can get ****** on this particular issue.

Biden administration issued plenty of visas to all he let in too.
You need to learn the difference between regular visas handed out vs the h1b visa abuse. If h1bs were being handed out like they should be then new new Delhi's with Indian restaurants, etc wouldn't be popping up everywhere. Obviously not just tech experts are being brought in.

It's both. You have strata in American culture which promotes excellent, but we also have much that promotes mediocrity at best. If we didn't, we wouldn't be fighting off DEI and CRT bullshite.
