I tried it once, before knowing the rules, early in my TD shitposting career- and got the dreaded red letter text from admins that it was not acceptable, ever, in any way.
Next day there were three seperate upvote/downvote threads that stood on page 1 for hours and never got whacked.

Yeah. I think the rule is dumb but it gets enforced against me and not against others for unknown reasons.
