Psychopathic Tendencies Are Linked to Microbes Inside Your Body, Study Reveals
quote:

The more we find out about the microbiome, the more we realize how truly profound its effects are in shaping who we become.

We already know that the microbes in our bodies may affect our emotions – including our fear response – but how far does their influence reach in terms of determining our personality?

In a new early-release study published in Translational Psychiatry, scientists have found evidence to suggest that microbiota may even influence people's experience of psychopathy, with researchers discovering links between levels of certain gut and oral microbes and psychopathic personality traits.

While the findings have yet to undergo peer review, the researchers say it's the first time we've found evidence of how microbiota could contribute to psychopathic traits, which remain poorly understood in terms of their biological underpinnings.

Psychopathy is a personality construct marked by characteristics including lack of empathy, antisocial tendencies, impulsiveness, and egoism, but where psychopathic personalities emerge from is still not fully clear.

If there's something to this it's good news - we can intercept at least some bad apples early and fix them.

Drinking and drugs frick with your guts too.

oral microbes

Meth heads don't seem to have good oral hygiene.

This goes back to the, we need more mental asylums. How many of these people would be in the streets without drugs? It's the chicken or the egg. Are they mental from the chemical change from abuse? Is their gut and oral state shite because they shoot up on the streets?

When I run out of toothpaste I buy more. A drug addict doesn't.

Avoid processed peanut butter and commercial ice cream - the emulsifiers give you leaky gut syndrome, avoid unnecessary anti-biotics (kills the good bacteria).

Make your own potent yogurt to put good bacteria into your gut microbiome:

Super Gut yogurt

I hate yogurt so I mix it into a home made fruit smoothie with a little bit of rebel ice cream (no emulsifier) or homemade ice cream.

Fermented foods like kimchi are supposed to be good but I can’t get used to it, so I just do the yogurt thing in my smoothie.

I listened to a study about animals and how they can be aggressive or docile depending on individuals.

The sweat your body secretes when in fear is different biologically to that of normal exercise.

In other words when they say the animal can smell fear.....they literally can smell fear from your sweat.
