When an employee at a Chrysler plant in Detroit got into a profanity-laced argument with Vice-President Biden in 2020 over the Dems assaults on the Second Amendment, nobody was calling for the worker to be fired. He wasn't even disciplined. [In fairness, all of the profanity, like with the Ford incident, might have been coming just from the elected official.]
Last night, I acknowledged that he had been suspended when Bobby posted about that. Being suspended and successfully fired are two separate things.
As I recall (it's been a while since I looked at NLRB cases), generally, when an employer turns a workplace into a political event, it can't punish employees for expressing a particular political view. The UAW would probably prevail if Ford tried to fire him...unless there's some policy we don't yet know about.
He didn't even call President Trump a pedo. He expressed a widely-held (right or wrong) political view that Trump was violating the law Trump signed and that Trump was doing it to protect pedophiles.
As for Saluba not collecting, what on earth is your febrile little brain suggesting? That the President of the United States can vitiate contracts between third-parties? How do you suggest he accomplish that?
Another chance to compare our prognostication skills. Ban bet. I will ban myself if Saluba doesn't collect over $500,000 (taking out the GoFundMe fees...he's over $600,000 in just 16 hours). You will ban yourself if he does. Deal?

Saluba made his comments in a UAW shop in Michigan. Trump lost the UAW vote in Michigan to Harris. Saluba definitely had some support for his comments. He likely won't be fired because of the strength of his Union.
Trump showed his authenticity. Win/win.

This is the constant tension here. Can you think that the President...or his Administration...has made a mistake and still be MAGA?
For instance, can you think it’s bad optics for Trump if his DOJ appears to be dragging its feet in complying with the law that Trump signed and still be MAGA?
