It's so sad. The world will sit back and watch this happen.

Worse … much of the world isn’t even aware. I watched the national news tonight (ABC) and there wasn’t a single mention of what’s going on in Venezuela.

Nada … stories on Israel/Palestine, Ukraine, Kamala, the “grazing” of Trump by a bullet and of course the Olympics. They’re hoping Venezula just dies away.

Honestly, I simply don’t understand the logic of a human being hanging around where they’re not wanted. And then killing people to stay put. They don’t want Maduro. He should secure some money, hop on a plane, and go chill out somewhere for retirement. I understand these people are wired differently from me, but, sheesh.

People like Maduro have power over regular people but I guarantee he is beholden to some powerful people like cartels and other governments with interests there. It’s likely if he leaves he won’t have a peaceful retirement he will always look over his shoulder

Maduro doesn’t have power over anyone. I’ve been to Venezuela since he’s been elected and they all hate him, unless they are in the military.

Demonstrations have trickled way down compared to yesterday. I have no idea how long they go but said on Sun if they don’t get him out in a few days he’ll keep power.

They would have to do something dramatic tonight or else its over imo.

I know Maduro is a prisoner in his own country. He can never go out in public yet he holds all the power and guns.

There is no help coming either. Unless the UN does something like Iraq where ultimatum given and if not met he’s invaded. But the UN is worthless so there’s that.

Peaceful will never get results. They need an American “mostly peaceful” type protest

quote:

At 8:30 PM on Tuesday, a cacerolazo is recorded in various areas of Caracas in protest against Maduro's fraud. Citizens are making their discontent heard loudly and peacefully, showing their rejection of the regime.

These protesters need to find some cable to stretch across the roads and knock some of these thugs off their bike and start collecting some guns to shoot back with.

Venezuela's socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro has now issued an arrest warrant against opposition leader María Corina Machado for fighting the stolen election

I wonder if he’ll have a show trial with a kangaroo court broadcast over two nights in prime time on national television?

Naw, even for a South American dictator that’s to Banana Republicish.

Jackson Hinkle is a proud member of the American Communist Party.

He literally stated that they are here to liberate the workers.

I see more reports about the regime than protests. And they haven’t gone after big Gov type assets.

These roving regime bikers have guns too.

I think its over because there is no organization. Peaceful protests won’t work. And it has to come from the people not outsiders.

quote:

In Maracaibo, Chavista groups are attacking merchants who have recorded and published the passage of their convoys. This intimidation reflects the growing repression and violence against those who document and expose the regime's actions.

Peaceful protests are useless.

If shite doesn't hit the fan tonight they're likely done and Maduro carries on.

Just scanning Twitter I mainly see recycled videos from yesterday. I think its already over.

Thing is, they will become a puppet of Chyna and all their oil will supply them. They have as many known reserves as Sauds too.

But under gunned. Last night was their chance before regime got better organized. Lost all momentum. Sad to say.

Only future is if all international put enough pressure on them but Chyna and Russia plus Cuba and some others will help them out.

I think fort means prison and these were all arrested today:

quote:

The Chavista governor of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, is subduing and intimidating young people inside the Paramacay Fort in Naguanagua, after being detained during protests against Maduro.

Neighborhood gangs vs regime gangs

quote:

According to reports, the criminal gang El Tren del Llano is facing gunfire with Chavista henchmen and Nicolás Maduro's paramilitary collectives in Valle de Pascua, Guárico. Yesterday they warned that if they messed with the people, they would come after them.
