SCOTT PRESLER: "There will come a time that Vice President Vance needs to overrule the parliamentarian. It’s within his authority to do so."

JD is President of the Senate.

She is a HUGE roadblock to passing bills like SAVE America! Thune should just fire her.

This would be a MONUMENTAL move: The last time a sitting VP — the President of the Senate — over ruled the parliamentarian was in 1975

Any means necessary!

The Repubs fired a parliamentarian during the W administration.

Problem is the parliamentarian's job is to throw the majority party in the briar patch. Or to use the pro wrestling analogy, they're a designated heel.

What this means is that he could indirectly bypass the filibuster by attaching it's key provisions to a budgetary reconciliation bill. Guess what would happen then? Several GOP senators would simply fall on their swords and we still wouldn't have the necessary votes to get it passed. Look what happened to Cornyn.

This is confirmed because the senate parliament cigarette was just as much of the convenient villain of the week during the Biden presidency as Trump's.

It is the "blob" or "deep state" personified. The DC political consensus as government functionary.

The last time this happened (what Mike Lee is talking about Vance doing) was in 1975 during debates on lowering the cloture threshold to end debate during a filibuster.

So why didn’t they do this when she removed the hearing protection and short acts?

If true, your base wanted it, they should have made that move then.
