But is it worth the trillion dollars we will add to the deficit to get the curry smell out of the White House?

I'm opposed to the abuse of H1B visas. But Usha was born in San Diego, so she is an American citizen. I'm not sure of the circumstances that brought her parents here. Don't know if H1B even existed back then. But they, if anyone, fits the true definition of H1B. They are experts in their respective fields and are both college professors. They aren't entry-level programmers like most of the H1B that we have problems with today.

That’s a great attitude. Unfortunately, MAGA people don’t care about the specific circumstances for all of the trashing of Hindus.

Just look at what’s happening in the DFW metroplex. There is population growth. And It’s not like they are verifying legit experts in their field H1Bs vs entry-level programmers vs Native born when they are making their judgments…

Well, I'm MAGA and I am familiar with the DFW area abuse of the H1B visa program. I've worked for 2 companies who abused. One of them has a large presence in DFW.

I was incorrect in my earlier post. It seems that Usha's grandparents are the ones who moved the family here from India back in the 1980s. I don't think H1B was even a thing back then.

We have big problems with H1B visas, but I'm not going to hold that against Usha Vance.

Ok that’s fair. I’m all for not rushing to judgement or blanket statements.

are they? Also, this means they’re a part of the system that has severely disenfranchised (white) American males from higher education.

There’s no positive spin here

The second lady went on to share a screenshot of her Old Navy receipt, showing her maternity dress was marked down from $49.99 to $12.49 and had an additional $3.74 deducted in promo discounts.

Anyone remember the faux outrage when Sarah Palin had to be dressed by the GOP strategists and people clutched pearls at the expensive clothing she bought with campaign funds.

Meanwhile Hillary Clinton and other Democrats raid the campaign war chest for the latest Tom Ford fashions and media is silent.

But Melenia Trump wears a stunning Ralph Lauren dress that costs more than the average worker’s monthly take home pay and pays for it with personal funds, and the media salivates as a gotcha moment.

Yeah, and Christians have said that for centuries as well. I don't understand what is so controversial about this fact. Do you know the first thing the Spanish did when they got to the Americas and realized there were people here? They tried to convert them to Christianity. The English and French? Same damn story.

That's a direct result of the Great Commission found at the end of the Gospel of Matthew.

I hate to be "that guy", but ...

He was correct in a couple of respects, although he probably is ignorant of it.

Usha Vance is Hindu. He got that part right.

And ... the Taj Mahal was constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1631 as a mausoleum for his wife. The Mughals were Muslim and had dominion over India at that time. There is a mosque within the grounds of the Taj Mahal.

I did not know this until today when I listened to a Rest is History podcast that explained it all. I learn new things every day.
