Personally as someone who sells things to people Ithe approach I take is more people with solid blue collar and some white collar jobs at a steel plant having significant wages in their pocket to buy my stuff. The increase in prices will be marginal From what I’ve seen. More fear mongering then anything else at this point. I’m not locked in by any means and could be convinced otherwise but everything I’ve seen is marginal impact on costs to consumers

It's called the Broken Window fallacy and many people seem to be clueless how it works.

Those commie Libtards at Fortune Magazine say hi. quote: The number of American workers in the metals industry could increase by an estimated 33,464 jobs, the decrease in other industries would be more significant: an estimated 179,334 jobs. This means that the net loss could total 146,000 jobs. But on the plus side, USS gets to reopen its magnificent showplace in Granite City.
Ahh figured no one would read the article huh.
It wasn’t fortune who said that it was the trade partnership who is a lobbyist group for global trade.
Hardly an unbiased source.

Not sure how I could have possibly misinterpreted that.

No it's not. You continuously use that term where it does not apply.
It's like you are trying to force a square peg into a circle hole. It's not a broken window fallacy.

Babies pay for food?
The best thing about these types of comments is that it shows us the level of understanding that you possess. Hate to let you know, but it's not real high.

There are a lot of rumors that USS is about to fire back up in Birmingham.

Imagine that, a community organizer doesn't know about business but a billionaire businessman does? Who woulda thunk it? That's not what the left has been telling us

It is. Dollars are now spent on increased steel/aluminum prices that were being spent elsewhere. It doesn't create a net positive impact on the economy. Tariffs have never worked over the long haul. They're a losing proposition.
Just because Trump proposed something doesn't make it a sound strategy. He isn't infallible.

Would you guys just let Trump work. I would love for him to be left alone by all the propaganda bullshite and do his work.
I am very curious where h takes us in 4 years.
If we don't like it in four years, we can decide.
The prior president didn't do anything but hurt this country. The media did nothing but blow him.

Where should tariffs begin and end? Should they apply to every product? What about services?
Why are you ok with the Federal government attempting to "pick" winners? Why are you ok with the Federal government manipulating pricing in an attempt to control economic forces of supply/demand?

Slack, slow down. Don't jump every time our president says something.
I personally believe that adding/instituting tariffs is a threat. One that he will follow through with. However, the perfect scenario would be other countries drop their tariffs on the USA.
