U.S. economy surges, Russian economy falters, in large part due to sanctions by the west, yet Obama's approval rating is in the dump, and Putin's approval rating is high.

Gruber was right about American voters, apparently. He forgot to mention Russian voters were stupid, too.

Washington (CNN) -- While the U.S. economy surges in 2014, posting the biggest jobs numbers in 15 years, the Russian economy is tanking straight into a recession after a bludgeon of Western sanctions.

I guess Russians are willing to suffer economically if it means getting to play empire. Seems like a lot to give up over Ukraine.

Dude, Barack Obama's approval numbers are anywhere between 44% to 48% right now. What are you even talking about?

ETA: That's near or tied with Reagan's numbers at this point in his presidency. I mean, you didn't even bother looking at the approval numbers before you posted this?

No. But where the markets are up, they are up despite Obama. Not because of him.
