my wife just returned from shopping at Wal Marty's grocery.

Toilet paper, paper towels, breads, flour, sugar, eggs, milk, juices, meats, fish, fruits and vegetables, pasta, wine, beer, broth, soups. Everything was there and plentiful. You're such a dumbass.

The best thing about this thread is it essentially records who was wrong and who was right. At least the “it’s the flu, brah!” crowd has largely disappeared.

No, it's basically the flu+, for people under 70, not even the flu.

bullshite, the overreaction is still way overboard and it is STILL only 3000+ deaths.

I guess you think spending millions per "death saved" is "rational".

There will STILL be more people die sooner because of economic hardship than from this virus. We won't ever see those stats though.

How many of these almost 4000 deaths were only because of Bat Flu? How many were because many factors?

These are coronavirus positive patients dying as a result of their infections. The Chinese numbers may include people who died of lead poisoning.

By that logic, the death toll of HIV/AIDS is zero.

When this is all over it will be interesting to compare the inevitable increase in suicides due to economic/financial ruin vs. KungFlu deaths.

Research shows that the US mortality rate actually dropped during the Great Depression, suicide was the only category that rose.

Having surpassed the average annual mortality for influenza by quite a bit with a tiny fraction of the cases, anyone care to make the case that "it's the flu"? Or we finally done with that nonsense.
