It’s absolutely terrifying that people with unpopular opinions on this specific message board exist, isn’t it?

Do you own the book? Are you a child? If there is an adult demand for the book (as evidence by your obsession with it), why are you mad that a public library has it available?

I'm confused. Is it a non-sexually explicit memoir, or does it contain pornography?

You keep jumping all over the place.

First it was "you posted a vague facebook rant", then it's "no, gay porn isn't in libraries", then it's "well, ok, it's there, but it's not a big deal, then it's "it's not porn, it's a memoir", now it's "Adults might want to rent said porn so it needs to be available to everyone!".

quote:

Who is “they”?

"Total strangers" providing cover for children to have access to their fetish porn.

quote:

Your kids are more likely to be curious about the book their dad is obsessed with than a random book on a shelf at a library they probably don’t even visit.

The people who are obsessed with the book placed it in the libraries to begin with, and are tripping over themselves, changing their argument quite literally every attempted rebuttal.

Why do you need gay blowjob illustrations in a public library to begin wtih?

Our daycare wasn’t like this. You do what works for your family (if you even have one) and I’ll do what works for mine.

If it works so well for your family, what are you bitching about, talking about how the cost almost broke you?

The poster to whom you are condescending from your high horse is responding directly to you complaining about the cost of day care with a suggestion about how to save money.

This is called put up or shut up time.

You always have to reply to my posts with the bitchiest remarks. It’s just strange.

Not really worth giving you a thoughtful reply just so you can pick it apart and bitch about something I wrote.

No, that was you. You're confused.

If you did that it would be the first one I've ever seen you give. You certainly didn't think about the one I just called you out on before you started flapping your lips about it.

I get why it's not worth it, though. It probably requires a WHOLE LOT of your bandwidth to concentrate that hard.

You’re the expert. I only know it exists because i you’ve been posting about it for months if not years.

When I googled it, i read a summary and saw pages from it, although it wasn’t the entire book. None of the images I saw were sexually explicit but I haven’t read the book so I can’t say for certain there aren’t any in there. The fact that there are many pages of non-sexually explicit images prove that it’s not a pornographic book, as you claim.

You keep jumping all over the place.

This book isn’t in school libraries. This book is available for adults in some public libraries. You’re clutching your pearls and posting ad nauseam about a book you found out about from a freaking Facebook post. Literally rage bait that you fell for hook line and sinker.

You’re the one claiming anonymous adults are lurking in preschool classrooms shoving porn in kids faces. You must get off on that thought or something because you will. not. let. it. go.

That you discovered from a Facebook post. In the age of AI.

you have been posting about the book for months if not years. When I looked at my local public library, every copy of the book was checked in. No one wants to read this book that you won’t shut up about.

You really don’t think this is a bitchy response? It is. You’re very bitchy. Very much a mean girl.

Oh, it probably was.

But I gave it to you IN RESPONSE to you being a high-horse bitch to the guy trying to help you with your family finances.

I have never started anything with you. But I am quite willing to finish.

Sure. I'll cop to that all day.

We had that conversation last month. Great example of how you're grasping at straws to avoid addressing the elephant in the room.

quote:

The fact that there are many pages of non-sexually explicit images prove that it’s not a pornographic book, as you claim.

My claim was that there is gay porn within reach of children on the public dime. I never said that there are books completely dedicated to gay porn in such places.

Another shite attempt at reframing this conversation.

quote:

This book isn’t in school libraries.

Another lie.

quote:

You’re clutching your pearls and posting ad nauseam about a book you found out about from a freaking Facebook post.

Not sure how I'd do that considering I haven't been on Facebook in over 10 years.

quote:

You’re the one claiming anonymous adults are lurking in preschool classrooms shoving porn in kids faces.

My claim was that there is gay porn in libraries, you disagreed and then went on to change your stance on the issue at least half a dozen times instead of admitting that my claim is correct.

quote:

No one wants to read this book that you won’t shut up about.

So take it, and any other sexually explicit imagery aimed at children off the shelves. Surely you don't have a problem with that, do you?

So you’re claiming it wasn’t Facebook but you found rage bait on social media and have been posting about it here for more than a month.

You keep posting about gay porn in libraries. I spend a lot of time in libraries and always have my whole life. I’ve never seen gay porn in any library whether it be a public library or a public school library. You named this specific book and claimed it’s in school and public libraries all over Louisiana. I don’t buy it but I admitted that copies are available at the public library in New Orleans, although every copy is still currently checked in.

You’re on a crusade to prove gay porn is in school libraries and children’s sections of public libraries because you saw a social media post claiming that was the case. We have beat this horse to death at this point.

Shut up Cathy Newman.

No, I'm saying that's how it gets started. Parents see this shite, start making noise on social media, it's put before school boards, local media pick it up, I see it, and groomers like you try and justify/poo-poo it.

You also said your experience in college tells you that math can't be politicized, then laughed at me for saying so.

I don't place any weight in your ability to parse what's going on around you.

No, you made assumptions. You could have asked for clarification, but you reflectively went to "rage clickbait on Facebook" because you're a partisan hack.

Edit: Also, do these illustrations magically not become sexually explicit when they upset parents post about it online? What idiotic point are you even trying to make?
