We desperately need to elect better representatives. Congress is a pathetic cesspool of corruption and rot. And it’s absolutely 100% the fault of us as a citizenry. We elect and re-elect these people.
The founding fathers have us an amazing and beautiful gift. The ability for people to constantly choose their representatives and shape their future and their freedom. We chose poorly.
We have absolutely failed as Americans and that failure seems to be too much to fix at this point. The two natural questions remain: when will the current system break and what will replace it?
Anything other than massive tax, regulation, spending, and federal government reform is basically equivalent to a bandaid on a gunshot wound at this point. But we haven’t experienced pain yet. Americans haven’t felt true pain or cost or pressure in over 5 decades. And it shows.

Damn this is disappointing
Trump is folding on everything. Bringing back illegals as legal workers, pausing tariffs for 90 days except on China, now starting to put exemptions on some Chinese products.
He is quickly losing my support. It’s becoming apparent he is caving to big corporations interests and not the interests of regular Americans. America first my arse.

I don't like that he's not banning TT out right. Heck I don't like his h1b stance, DST stance, but I'm definitely not going to root for him to lose this like you and others are.

You don’t fix America without pain. Apparently he has no stomach for pain.
Get the illegals out and end the bullshite welfare system to able bodied people under 65 years old. Get Americans back to work. Get industry rebuilt in this country. End reliance on foreign manufacturing and industry. Stop subsidizing single parenthood.
Some of that is on the government. Some of that is on us. The narcissistic atheistic evil cultural rot we have allowed to overtake every form of entertainment and social interaction in this country is bizarre.
Anyone celebrating or defending Trumps plan to fast track illegals back here because hotels need them if their old bosses says so is pathetic. There are plenty of Americans who can fill those jobs. And if there are not, then the business can’t be supported. Some companies may not make it, some industries may undergo changes, some pain will be felt. So be it.

Intel is making chips in US and it suffers 125% tax from China.
AMD is making chips in Taiwan. No Higher taxes in US and China.
