Good then Republicans should make it an issue for the upcoming election since Thune is not going to do anything about it. Maybe if Republicans gain seats by supporting it Thune will get off his arse. Perhaps even better, the republicans might kick him to back of their ranks and replace him with a senate leader with a spine.

HOUSE GOP LEADERSHIP SHOULD allow an AMENDMENT to ATTACH VOTER ID + PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP or SAVE America to the ACTUAL TEXT of NDAA.

IF IT IS NOT DONE THIS WAY, IT WILL EASILY BE TAKEN OUT.

If we do it as an amendment, the way that I proposed it, the Senate would need 60 votes to pass the legislation without SAVE America attached. Meaning it would be harder for them to TAKE it out.

When the actual Republican bean counters examined the likely effect of requiring primary documents to prove citizenship as a prerequisite to voting, they realized that the Save Act will block at least as many, and likely more Republican voters.

They are RINOs and you are correct, but not entirely.

They want to take turns winning. They want things to stay the same because it’s one giant grift. How else are they going to fundraise if there aren’t any issues?

People forget politics is a business and a way of life for those involved. It’s their livelihood.

This opinion opens the door to more fraud and it is not difficult to understand why.

Why would they fix a perfect system for career politicians?

Public service was supposed to be a burden, not a business.

Further proof that members of Congress don’t care what American citizens want.
