The more I think about Alien life, the more itd signal to me that there is a creator.

Just think about time and space, its infinite. What is the chances that another intelligent race was able to exist not only at the same time as humanity on earth but also have the capabilities to interact with planets in other solar systems. Theres is just as much chance that an alien race of people was around trillion years ago than there is them being around now. There are alien races whose planets and suns could have died trillions of years ago.

Couple of things.

The Book of Enoch would be Old Testament. Part of Jewish literature not Christian per se. But it isn’t part of the Bible and hasnt ever been part of a Bible organized by any church council.

If there is intelligent life out there, it doesn’t automatically contradict all religions. The Bible has broached this subject many times. There are a lot of scenarios where intelligent alien life falls in line with scripture or doesn’t contradict it.

The book of Revelation describes a time at the end of the age when a great deception will occur that will fool everyone, almost to the point of deceiving the elect. I can see how this can be spun as contradictory to the Bible but it being a deception of what they actually are.

It nails the coffin shut on all of them. You’d have to really use extreme mental gymnastics to believe otherwise which I’m sure some will do in desperation.

Couple of things. First, the universe is 13.8 billion years old. That’s way short of trillions of years. The mumbo jumbo the YT astrophysicists say it is unlikely they are in the Milky Way galaxy because it is only 100,000 light years across. So if they are a little older then we should hear their radio waves. We don’t. Physicists tell me via YT that only massless particles can go the SOL. Not a km per hour faster. And space is vast. No way any can travel here. I’ll wait and see what POTUS tells us.

How could we possibly prove that?

It's canonical in Ethiopia. Also, Jude opens quoting it. Enoch, being Noah's grandfather, is a central figure. Especially when you consider he never died and was taken up to heaven twice to talk to God.

Every scientific advancement has always been touted to be the death of Christianity. Yet here we are and it’s alive and well.

The Bible doesn’t state anywhere that man is the only sentient being in the universe. Jesus didn’t preach it either. To the contrary. He stated there were others they knew nothing about that he had to go to. Who might they be? We don’t know.

These aliens could very well be angels or demons. They are a well discussed part of the Bible.

Many Christians believe the earth of Adam’s day was a recreation from a destroyed earth. When the angels rebelled, that it brought destruction upon the earth and was recreated making a physically old earth, but a young recreated one.

The Sons of God and daughters of men could very well be aliens. Or what we perceive as aliens.

Statements like this are literally antithetical to science.

Ethiopia Well that’s a huge stretch to call it a Christian book.

quote:

The Biblical Canon was ratified by the third Council of Carthage around 397 A.D, and the Book of Enoch was not included as a part of the Canon. While some parts of the Book of Enoch contain value, at some point, the book diverges from a biblical view, and the early church did not consider it consistent with other books of scripture. Therefore, it was not included in the Biblical Canon, or what we know to be the Holy Bible today.

Strongly disagree for several reasons. But you do realize that Ethiopia adopted Christianity as their official state religion even before Rome, right? It's in their Bible.

The person of Enoch isn’t debated. Not anymore than any other preflood person in the Bible. It’s the ‘book of Enoch that’s questioned and not considered inspired scripture.

Again, the Ethiopians include it in their Bible and they embraced Christianity as their state religion all the way back in the 4th century. Also, since Jude opens quoting from it, Jude expected his audience to be familiar with Enoch.

I'm sorry you're wrong on this.

Fully aware. It’s also considered as one of the resting places for the Ark of the Covenant. Also its Jewish roots and DNA as well.
