Isnt this the nutcase that carved a pentagram in the victims chest?
Yes, and bashed in the victim’s skull and kept a piece for a souvenir.

Some believe it's also to find God and repent their sins.
What would this accomplish for someone who did something so horrible?

...and the Court has indefinitely stayed the execution...
quote:
A federal court has stayed the execution of Christa Pike.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit issued an order the morning of Sept. 30 staying Pike's execution "until further order of this court." Her attorneys confirmed the stay in an emailed statement.
"The court has stayed this recognizing the serious concerns about Christa's scheduled execution," Stephen Ferrell of the Federal Defenders Services of Eastern Tennessee said.
Pike was scheduled to be killed by lethal injection at 10 a.m. Sept. 30.
Pike, the only woman on Tennessee's death row, was convicted and sentenced to death for the 1995 killing of 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer in Knoxville.

Saw it.
I guess between this and Clancy, women just can’t be held responsible because of emotions.
