I can't fricking believe this shite. No arrests, no suspects, all caught on camera. Just like the Miami mass shooting of 23 people.
Where are the protests in the name of the racist senseless violent murder of this young couple? What is our law enforcement even doing?

I know a crime reporter for a Fox affiliate. You're probably right. She told me +90% of crime isn't random. She would know. She investigates it.

I did, and many others. All are the same: glossing over the event itself to focus instead on deifying the victims to some extent. That rush often means there's more to the story which reporters want to divert from.
I'm not saying the event shouldn't have happened and that it wasn't tragic, but that the handling of it leads me to think there's more to it than what is being reported.

What race are the murderers in this case? Aren't Puerto Ricans a minority in this country? Why isn't the "Squad" defending these two for being murdered, calling out the killers?

Get ready for the accusations of you "trying to create a narrative" merely for observing facts and drawing a logical conclusion.

The country is already "armed." But being armed does not necessarily equate with "resolve."
What more disquieting look into the future than that sustained, hours-long mutilation, torture and death of that little white couple in Tennessee over a decade ago.
Even that atrocity didn't spur what you advocate.
The system will continue with the pacification payments in the form of enough social programs to fill a Yellow Pages, hoping that an aging populace might lessen these sadistic, dysfunctional behaviors.
A callow approach actually expecting to buy time and let future generations deal with it.
Yet, history tells them that "tribute" has never really worked.
So the suffering is just beginning.
None will more so than our grandchildren and their progeny.

I remember the white couple in Knoxville that were tortured and murdered. Was that crime ever deemed truly "random"? I always heard they owed those guys drug money. Was that just a rumor?

What they did to the little girl was beyond savagery. As though there was something deeply personal in it.
Compounding it was that the media did its damnedest to ignore it.
Then a small newspaper in Miami reported on it over two weeks later and that coaxed outfits like CNN to cover it, so as not to lose their credibility. Which they've managed to do since that time.
Saw it by accident on CNN because of a visit to Easst Jefferson Hospital.
Still didn't see it on any of the local-yokel stations.
But we've had managed news since Hearst.
