I doubt it. People said the same thing when the kneeling started. The NFL took a brief dip in ratings before rebounding with one of their best years ever financially.
The ratings dipped when a handful of players were kneeling and the networks and league panicked. Now imagine how bad it’ll be when the entire league is kneeling for the US national anthem right after they play a black national anthem. And a lot of people are sick of the rioting and looting of the past month and these players are supporting the rioters. NFL is in for a lot more hurting this year than the original Kaepernick kneeling caused. Especially if they can’t have fans in the stands and they lose all their ticket and concession revenue and take a big ratings hit in the same season

I threw out a bunch of Saints' gear. Not in a rage, but I can use the space and I know I will not wear it just like I will not wear any Nike gear.

They have nothing but contempt for me, so I damn sure am not going to support them.

I hope the NFL tanks, it will be the only way the players learn who really pays their salaries.

I like many others gave them a second chance. Admittedly, not nearly as enthusiastic as I used to be... After their recent BLM bullshite, I will never watch it again.

he whole COVID thing sucks but I wouldn't mind seeing the NFL lose an entire season. I hope it hurts the owners and I would enjoy watching spoiled millionaires crying about missed mortgage payments, late car notes and pissed off baby mamas.

While, I'd love to see the NFL play in empty stadiums this year, it would be good to give the fans that are on the fence a year without it...just to show them that they won't miss it if they give it up.

I didn't watch any games last year, so I already know how easy it is. Giving up fantasy football makes it even easier to walk away.

I’ll spend the whole damn fall watching replays of games from when the NFL wasn’t so toxic and most players were America loving individuals.

I really don’t care if major sports come back.

It’s gonna be such a huge shite show with all of the politics, I don’t even care.

If covid forces fans to stay away from the game day experience, the woke PC bullshite they spew will make it easy for fans to stay away once they realize they can live without it.

I don't know. I think I was dipped in black and gold at birth. I toyed with the idea when the kneeling started but never followed through. Now? I'm done. Not only have I no interest, I actually get angry at the thought of the season starting. If I can be turned it's possible others feel the same much deeper than the surface.

At least we won’t have to listen to the Black National Anthem

The NFL made their bed let them lay in it, it isn't a bunch of BLM SJWs filling those arenas, it's red blooded Americans, the NFL is doomed.

Spot on 100%. I've thought the same thing throughout this whole entire fiasco.

I'm honestly beginning to think these idiots don't understand the demographic that wholly supports football and basketball in general (in my opinion anyways). It ain't the limp wristed CNN crowd. I feel the same thing applies to college sports.

If they want to alienate and openly hate the core and majority of their supportable fan base good luck long term with those fat contracts and all the HNIC bling bling.
