So that's not how public property and buildings work in general. They're treated as someone elses property since it's not yours directly and shared property belonging to all. We instead we have people manage the property for it's purpose in the interest of all.
So when you violate the general rules and go where you shouldn't in a public building or on public property you can be tresspassing based on the authority we the public have placed in the government officials that oversee that property.

Here is the problem. The capitol is open to the public. Certain areas are off limits but there is a reason they have ropes and barriers inside,
So breaching the doors isn’t trespassing especially when electronic doors are opened by the capitol police

Depends, capitol police waved people in. Illegally entry doesn’t mean you should get treated like a war criminal. Then again, when liberal filth set fire to a federal courthouse in Oregon, nothing was done. No violence was shown on part of those entered except a cop shooting an unarmed military veteran.
