Well, im glad the parents didn't shoot poor ole joe.

That would be bad, especially if they got Kamala at the same time. Glad nothing like that occurred.

They were props. Not once did Biden speak out on the atrocity of black on black crimes.

Dontaviousness

This made me giggle. I wonder why they think these names are African?!

I know 2 people born from African countries (Rwanda and Gabon), their first names are Emmanuel and Michael.

I've been saying this for years. I want an admin position in hospitals where parents give their name choice.

I...don't think this is the best take

And "Tyre" isn't a weird name. Biden can barely pronounce his own name at this point, if we're keeping it a buck

One of my brothers has a vaguely African name ("Damani" - some translate it as "thoughtful"), a sister has a middle name of Swahili origin ("Ayanna" - meaning "beautiful flower"), and another brother has a straight up Greek name ("Nikolos"...he was literally born in Greece). Rest of us siblings have pretty standard American or Biblical names.

Aggiebelle and I went with the same for our kids (Quattro has my name, so he's a "IV").

I spent 6 months in Africa and NOT ONE name began with 'Le' or 'La' or 'Ke' or any of that nonsense. Names I remember were Beauty, Sunday and stuff like that.

I don't think it's necessarily "nonsense," but yeah most certainly not African. There's a big American-inspired ethnic name trend among many black people. It masquerades as African, and is assumed as such by many, but obviously it's really its own thing.

Never been to Africa myself, but yes that's more par for the course from the African people I've met.
