Type of reports which will hurt 'Heels UP'

So I remember reading when Harris was AG of California she was known for 'bending' ethics. She will say and do anything for what she wants.
For Joe's sake... I hope all of this time was devoted to finding/ hiring an official food 'taste tester'.

EDIT: Also, now that the 'auditions' are over, will any of the top-tier candidates start leading with a more reasonable hand... I'm looking at you Lance-Bottoms and Whitmer?

As attorney general, she weaponized technicalities to keep wrongfully convicted people behind bars rather than allow them new trials with competent counsel and prosecutors willing to play fair. One of them, Kevin Cooper, is on death row. Another, George Gage, will die in prison without intervention from the governor. In both cases, Harris had the power to change the outcome. She could have demanded DNA testing in Cooper’s case. She refused. She could have conceded Gage’s conviction was based on the prosecutor’s decision to suppress evidence that devastated the credibility of the sole witness against him. She didn’t.

Harris also failed to hold police and prosecutors accountable for misconduct. In Orange County, where a sprawling jailhouse informant scandal has robbed countless people of their right to a fair trial.

And on the out her side of the aisle, you have Trump who has been working on prison reform for a while now.
Stark contrast to be made.

So, a typical democrat. They won't dig into anything that will paint her badly.

The plus side of that is that there is QUITE a lot to choose from then.

Family history that includes ownership of a plantation and ownership slaves.
If the left is pissed at Washington and Jefferson, this should not pass muster.

Between Heels Up and the railroading of Flynn, does anyone actually believe that the Want Brigade care about criminal justice reform?

plenty... for both sides to be upset with. The left will gloss or say she's evolved.
One of my favs...
quote:
Harris herself showed unfortunate enthusiasm for fighting against wrongful conviction suits, the most infamous being the case of Kevin Cooper, a black man who was almost certainly framed by the San Bernardino police department for a quadruple-homicide and sentenced to death. Harris not only succeeded in stymying Cooper’s appeal for clemency, she also effectively defended the death penalty by leaving Cooper on death row.
Harris now speaks comfortably about opposing mass incarceration and the death penalty. Her comfort, however, is built on a career that perpetuated both.
WashingtonMonthly
one side will hate her for being the prosecutor, DA and AG; the other for being inept and/or swinging like a palm tree.

urban reference...
quote:
Refers to a woman on her back, usually naked, with her legs spread and feet in the air (i.e her heels are up in the air) and ready to engage in sexual intercourse.
