Right it's the cops fault. Not the guy breaking the law growing weed.

Yep.

I'd side with a dude growing a few pot plants over our militarized cops any damn day of the week. Cops are awful in 2014.

They are either hiding behind bushes to put more money in the governments pocket through horseshite traffic tickets or kicking in doors trying to be bad asses with their cool toys.

God bless america for shooting and killing a police officer? You're sick.

God Bless America for not punishing a man for protecting his family from a thug, simply because that thug was a cop.

I stated earlier, it is a shame that the cop died. But if it was going to be a cop or the person the cop broke in on, I am glad it was not the person that was in their own home.

I agree with the verdict, but "god bless america"?. It's a tragedy, not a warrant to celebrate anarchy.

It is a tragedy when cops kick in the door in the middle of the night and kill a citizen. It is a tragedy when a citizen is convicted of defending his home.

Not sure it is a tragedy when someone gets shot while breaking into someone's home.

You ever speed? Run a stop sign? Litter?

You saying you deserve to be shot?

The no knock warrant is justified in this case becuSe it's exactly what the suspect did. He armed himself an killed the THUG with a badge.

The article said the cop was buried, did they bury a live cop?

Only people who have no regard for the law can have these opinions. Everyone just gives the criminal pot grower a pass like he didn't do anything

What did he do, grow a plant?

Then puts it all on the thug breaking into someones home in the middle of the night. Sad!

Lol!!!! That's the funniest thing I've heard yet.

Well shite let just stop enforcing any law as long as no one gets hurt.

I agree with you. It is important to enforce the laws where no one gets hurt. People are forgetting the benefits of enforcing the drug laws. Cops get to steal, excuse me, confiscate the belongings of those horrible criminals that would do such a thing.

Could you imagine living in a world with freedom and not ability for cops to steal from the citizens. What kind of horrible state that would be?

How would that change anything?

Cop busted in a dudes house. Does it matter what the cop or the dude looked like?

SPECTACULAR!

Maybe cops and judges will think twice before endangering people's lives by issuing these absurd no-knock warrants in the future.

Cops are completely out of control with their new 'play army' games. 80,000 estimated no-knock warrants like this one in 2013.

Militarization of local police forces, unconstitutional check points and warrant-less searches have changed America into a police state.

The cop who was killed asked for the warrant and put the lives of other officers and the suspects in extreme danger. While he certainly didn't deserve to die, he is the one who wanted to play army with real guns. There is no one to blame but him and the judge.

Cheers!

I love this thread. It gives me hope that the tide is turning and police thuggery will eventually be reigned in and our drug laws will be reformed.

Then again, here is a pic of Henry Goedrich Magee, the vicious horrible homeowner who will now be serving 2-10 in the pen because he committed the heinous act of growing pot.
