Two Republicans who can be blamed for all of this (long and speculative)

1. Clayton Williams.
Had he learned to keep his fricking mouth shut and his stupid comments to himself in the 1990 campaign, Ann Richards never becomes Governor and George W. Bush is never elected to replace her. McCain is likely elected President in 2000, long before he becomes the senile, stupid and bitter old man he is in 2008 and 2016.
2. Mike Ditka.
Had Mike Ditka not withdrawn from the 2004 Senate Race, Barack Obama is never elected Senator and remains a community organizer OR moves to Hawaii to run for Senate. Either way, he never becomes President.
Speculation of what happens if those two Republicans don't frick up.
1990 - Clayton Williams is elected governor of Texas
1994 - Clayton Williams is reelected governor of Texas
1998 - Either Rick Perry or John Sharp is elected governor of Texas, the other one becomes Lieutenant Governor after Bob Bullock's death
2000 - John McCain (the maverick version) is elected President.
2004 - John McCain is reelected over John Kerry.
2008 - Donald Trump is elected President as a DEMOCRAT under the promise to end the war in Iraq and fix the housing and banking crisis...and because he hates Hilary Clinton.
2010 - President Trump undermines his own party and campaigns for Republicans in the House and Senate because he fricking hates Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and wants them to fail.
2011 - America's military campaigns in both Iraq and Afghanistan end. Presences remain at Victory Base and Bagram Air Base.
2012 - Running on a campaign of continued bi-partisan negotiation with the House and Senate and openly stating that it's better that one party doesn't run everything, he is reelected by a large margin over Mitt Romney.
2015 - Upon finding out of the NIH and Anthony Fauci's involvement in the Wuhan institute of virology, President Trump ruins both.
2016 - Ted Cruz is elected President due to President Trump shitting on all of his party's candidates during an election year.
2019 - COVID 19 is never released.

Spoken by someone who has never lived in Illinois. Ditka is still revered since not only is he from Illinois but is responsible for the Bears only Super Bowl victory. Every Bears team is compared to the 1985 Bears.
Ditka certainly didn't have the baggage that Ryan did (even though what Obama's allies did in that campaign was ILLEGAL)

This is the correct answer….you cannot compare the individual..they are all players in the overall game. Once the people realize that they need to represent themselves we won’t be governed by these @ssholes.

That's like blaming OJ Simpson for reality TV being a thing and rotting our society, since if he never went on trial, the public would never have learned who Robert Kardashian was, and it wouldn't matter who his whore daughters grew up to become.

Without Ann Richards the Big 8 would have stuck to just A&M and tu, gone to 10 teams, and wouldn’t have been weighed down by Tech and Baylor and maybe A&M never joins the SEC.

Jeff Probst is the person most responsible for the plague that is reality television. (Survivor) Kim Kardashian being a public whore didn't happen until 10 years after the OJ Trial.
