well to be fair the "national security" argument has worked for him in some ways to date, like with those tariffs

No. The moment sources are forced to be exposed is when journalism is impossible. You may not like that this can happen, but freedom does come with undesired consequences. I"m willing to accept these consequences in order to maintain our liberties and preserve the constitution.

yes and no. I did indeed misread your intent.
I am a Trump supporter, but the NYT should not oust their source unless they choose to. Trump is doing what he has to do, and as long as it's words I am fine with that. The moment he tries to actually force the NYT to reveal their source is the moment he shits on the constitution. That is not ok.

Of course, but none of that makes it OK for Trump to shite on the constitution. So far it's strictly his grandstanding, which I am fine with; however, if you think it's right to violate the constitution due to the libs constantly doing so (or for any reason for that matter) then you are just as treasonous as the left.

What would you consider the weaponization of fed agencies and leaking false information to get a FISA warrant on an opposing campaign? If that’s not an attack on the constitution and liberty, I don’t know what is.
Regardless of what side of the political spectrum you fall on, how can you support intelligence agencies leaking false info and then using that info to obtain warrants without a hearing, and going judge shopping until you find one to sign off on it?
