Bring back dress codes at all public universities.

Respect those sitting there acting with some decorum.

All universities could benefit from a much stricter dress code.

At some point, people have to realize that there is an international standard of presentation and behavior to garner respect. Even underdeveloped nations recognize this. Save the cultural dress for specifically cultural events.

I have not followed this closely, but it sounds like the President is following some of the principles of the Tuskegee founder Booker T. Washington. His autobiography was one of the first I read in middle school and I read it again just a few years ago.

He was a hard worker and used a lot of common sense in his reasoning. A guy I have had the opportunity to go to a few conferences with and get to know over the last couple of years just became the Supt at the Tuskegee National Historical Park. They have invested quite a bit of money into the University the last several years including adding a men's soccer team this year.

I have also worked with a few graduates from there over the years and the ones that come to mind were all very professional and had successful careers. It will be interesting to see if any other universities start copying them.
