It doesn't get anymore deep state than having an Army MOC that's deep state. I don't know what you think "United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command" does, but I suspect many of the posters are deep state trolls posting political propaganda, and not from Louisiana. Maybe you should post elsewhere. I posted a video from JFK and you can't even debate what he actually said. Just name calling? Thought so. Ever shoot a .416 Ruger? I also have a friend with a .338 Lapua, it to a lesser extent, but you wouldn’t want your thumb up there with either of them.

Recoil on a 5.56 is almost nothing. Like I said, I can see it for close quarters, but little else.
