Who gives a frick? Trump doesn’t need an anti 2A, Medicaid for all moonbat to make a speech about war. She does not belong. Period.
Democrats spend their time calling Trump a Nazi, a racist and a criminal. People like Tulsi Gabbard expose the lie that an establishment Democrat like Biden has a decent bone in his body. The man voted for the Iraq War. Trump opposed it. Because of the lies that Biden swallowed whole, tens of thousands of Americans and millions of Iraqis were either killed or maimed. The very epithets they hurl at Trump can be thrown back at a war loving, surveillance loving authoritarian like Biden. Gabbard holds a mirror up to people like Biden and their establishment lackeys and shows them to be frauds and hucksters.

Bruh, Trump is the most anti-war president we have seen in a very long time.

I highly doubt she would be invited to speak about her views on anything but how bad the Democratic Party is now. Like it or not, that IS the message that Trump needs to win the moderates. When Trump says the Democrats are lunatics the moderates don’t believe him. Why? Because every single news outlet is 24/7 OMB. The more moderate Dems come out and #walkaway the more the floodgates are open.

it won’t happen unless Trump is fully onboard with it.
True and that is why I think it's unlikely we see Tulsi come convention time.
She is just too far left in her views, all known to Trump supporters, to be beneficial to the president.
I sincerely hope Trump doesn't take this road.

You're just a liar

The Electoral College should not be eliminated

Yet what an enemy. Gabbard has no future in the Democon Party. She stood up to Clinton.

President Donald Trump, while railing against his impeachment, took time to praise Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard for not voting to impeach him.
“They knew a few days into the Russian witch hunt that it was nothing,” Trump said at a Turning Point USA conference in Florida Saturday. “It didn’t exist. Did you the see the other day? Crooked Hillary came out, she said that Jill Stein from the Green Party, she said Jill Stein was a Russian agent. Now, I don’t know Jill Stein, I’m sure she’s a fine woman. But I know she’s not a Russian agent.”
“Then she said Tulsi Gabbard is a weapon of Russia. And they lost all credibility because you know that Tulsi Gabbard — and I give her respect. She didn’t vote the other day. I give her a lot of respect, because she knew it was wrong. But I don’t know, but I know one thing. She is not an agent of Russia,” he continued.
Gabbard voted present on both articles of impeachment and trashed the process as a “partisan endeavor.”
Trump was referencing Hillary Clinton’s podcast interview where she called Stein a “Russian asset” and claimed Russia was “grooming” one of the 2020 Democrats for a spoiler third-party run.
A Clinton spokesperson later obliquely confirmed the 2016 presidential candidate was talking about Gabbard, which resulted in the Hawaii congresswoman calling Clinton “the queen of warmongers.” Stein also said it was an “unhinged conspiracy” to claim she’s a Russian asset.

So, back to my original comment. She is going to throw her political career away to become a paid speaker?

She's not.
She is not moderate and she is not walking away from the democratic party.

the OP topic got 107 upvotes to 3 downvotes, so it's only about 3 or 4 numbsculls on here who are actually not onboard

And? Whatever her other sins, she is less a bloodthirsty ghoul than the vast majority of the congressional leadership in BOTH parties for that fact alone.
Agree but she also thinks it's America's responsibility to take care of every foreigner that steps foot on American soil from cradle to grave.

Tulsi put a fork in her own political career —at least with the DNC — when she did not vote in favor of impeaching Trump.
LINK ]Tulsi Gabbard Releases Statement on Impeachment of President Trump:
quote:
Throughout my life, whether through serving in the military or in Congress, I’ve always worked to do what is in the best interests of our country. Not what’s best for me politically or what’s best for my political party. I have always put our country first. One may not always agree with my decision, but everyone should know that I will always do what I believe to be right for the country that I love.
After doing my due diligence in reviewing the 658-page impeachment report, I came to the conclusion that I could not in good conscience vote either yes or no.
I am standing in the center and have decided to vote Present. I could not in good conscience vote against impeachment because I believe President Trump is guilty of wrongdoing.
I also could not in good conscience vote for impeachment because removal of a sitting President must not be the culmination of a partisan process, fueled by tribal animosities that have so gravely divided our country. When I cast my vote in support of the impeachment inquiry nearly three months ago, I said that in order to maintain the integrity of this solemn undertaking, it must not be a partisan endeavor. Tragically, that’s what it has been....

1% Tulsi has exactly 1 thing in common with Trump (nonintervention in Syria) and exactly 0 things in common with the GOPe.
I agree with her on many things, but she is not -nor ever will be- anything other than a darling of internet neckbeard libertarians who overlook her radical social and economic policies because she's cute and anti-war.

So, some of you think that we should ask a person that was running to be your opponent to speak. All of this just because you have a common enemy? Silly.
