Had this conversation with three 30 somethings Sunday. The two guys are hunters and one was a guide for a while and I had to go to Wikipedia to show them this fact. They kept saying Assault Rifle or Automatic Rifle.

The shooter has been identified as Michelet "Michael" Louis, 45 year old black male of Haitian descent from Muskogee, OK.

Btw, I just saw an article on (I think) ABC that said the shooter killed a black doctor. No mention of the shooter himself being black

Just saw that he was carrying a note saying he intended to go shoot a surgeon who had treated him and anyone who got in his way.

I know exactly what it stands for. Usually if one is used they have a picture of it out immediately. Anytime a handgun is used it seems like a few days before the picture comes out.
Was just asking if they said ar-15 not automatic rifle. I know everything you have to do to legally own an automatic rifle. Guess I could of put ar-15 in the original post instead of ar.

Yep, no problem. The media has so many people brainwashed on this fact that it's mindnumbing. There literally is no difference between an AR-15, a pump shotgun or handguns. You have to pull the trigger to fire each bullet. Not experienced with bumpstocks but they seem like you'd probably just spray bullets around with those and not hit your target.
